The enemy can disguise himself and weasel his way into anyone’s life. We can be sitting ducks if we’re not careful…

No matter the version, there is a message for us all. Be serious, be alert, stay alert, and keep a cool head. The Devil is ready and waiting to get you in his grip!

So subtle how the enemy works himself into our lives. He sneaks upon us in such a way that stifles our abilities to even discern that it’s him. When God opens our eyes to the oppression that we’ve been in, we think…”Wow! Why didn’t I see this coming!” But thank God! Thank God! His plan is not for us to be enslaved but to live a free life through His son Jesus Christ!

God has called us to a life of freedom! Not to a life of slavery.

I’m so thankful when my Papa God has opened my eyes at times. Have I been mad at what the enemy has tried to do to me? You bet! But Paul has a warning about this for us…
“Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry ~ but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life.” Ephesians 4:26-27 MSG
We can’t help but be angry when we realize that we’ve been duped by the enemy! But…

The Plan
- Be strong in the Lord and in the Strength of His Might.
- Put on the Full Armor of God, (so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.)
- Take up the Full Armor of God, (so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having everything, to stand firm.)
- Stand firm
- Gird your loins with Truth
- Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness
- Shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace
- Take up the Shield of Faith
- Extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one
- Take the Helmet of Salvation
- Take the Sword of the Spirit (Word of God)
- Pray at all times in the Spirit Ephesians 6:10-18 NASB
