The 365 Guarantee

photo (7)It takes 365 days for the earth to revolve around the sun. 365 days are in a year. There are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in one day. There are 1,440 minutes in 24 hours or 8,6400 seconds in 24 hours.

There are exactly 365 days of God’s grace unfolding in my life!  The 365 Guarantee from God to me…

“Not a day goes by without His unfolding grace.” 2 Corinthians 4:16 MSG

Grace ~ the condition or fact of being favored by someone.

My life is busy, is your life busy?  There are some days that I’m so flat out tired that I just want to cry, can you relate?  My family is needy.  Is yours?  Often, I pray to my Papa God with these words, “You know we are a needy family God, be with each of us today Dear Heavenly Father, oh how we need you!”  Tired.  Busy.  Worried.  Hurting.  Needy… He knows!

While the this old earth keeps revolving around the sun, God’s sweet and wonderful grace just keeps on unfolding all around us. God favors us! He favors you every day. He favors me every day. His grace unfolds around us every single day!

Guarantee ~ an assurance for the fulfillment of a condition.

Grace unfolded around a tiny baby, tucked safe and secure in a basket that was floating down the Nile river one day.  Grace unfolded around a young sheep herder as he attended his sheep one day.  Grace unfolded around a young widow who was traveling with her Mother in law one day.  Grace unfolded around three young men who were thrown into a fiery furnace one day.  Grace unfolded around a young man who was thrown into a lion pit one day.  Grace unfolded around a frightened young virgin who would give birth to the Savior of the world one day.  Grace unfolded around a man who was blinded on the road to Damascus one day, and grace unfolded around a 10 year old little girl who asked Jesus into her heart when she was 10 years old, from Cleveland, Tennessee one day.

God’s little nuggets of truth are so sweetly tucked within the pages of his word, and all we have to do is tuck those truths within our hearts and minds.

Often our lives are so busy that we can’t think of anything else but what we’re dealing with at the moment. What we do or choose not to do does not change how graceful our God is!  He doesn’t change. His grace just keeps on unfolding every day. We do our best to even try to dodge his grace at times, which makes no sense whatsoever, but we do!

I love how Paul explains grace this way…

“…Sin didn’t, and doesn’t have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace.  When it’s sin versus grace, grace wins hands down.  All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that’s the end of it.  Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into lifea life that goes on and on, world without end.” Romans 5:20-21 MSG

Grace invites us into life, a life that goes on and on, world without end.

The next time you’re tired, remember what’s unfolding around you.  The next time you’re so upset, you can hardly see straight, remember what’s unfolding around you. The next time your worried, hurting or upset, remember what’s unfolding around you.  The next time you just want to give up on everything, remember God’s 365 guarantee, remember what’s unfolding around you.

Not a day goes by without His unfolding grace!
